BOOKING:
Guided trips require a $500 deposit per person per trip.
This deposit is non-refundable.Final payment is due 90 days before start of trip.
Bookings made within 90 days of the trip start date will pay in full once the space is confirmed.
All trip payments are to be made in U.S. Dollars. We accept payment by credit card, check, and wire transfer.
CHANGE FEES:
Change requests to a booking or private trek are subject to change fees on a case by case basis.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We will need a written notice of cancellation sent to info@blueskytrekking.com
For cancellations made before 90 days within the trip start date: the non-refundable $500 deposit will be converted into a travel credit for a future booking with Blue Sky Trekking & Travel and must be applied to a Blue Sky trip within 2 years of the original trip start date. This credit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellations made within 90-46 days of start date loss of 25% of amount paid to date. The remaining balance paid to date will be converted to a travel credit and must be applied to a Blue Sky trip within 2 years after the original trip date. This credit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellations made within 45 days prior to start date forfeit 100% loss of amount paid to date with no travel credit offered.
Certain circumstances may require Blue Sky to cancel a trip. We will not cancel less than 45 days prior to departure unless an unusual or unforeseen circumstances that is outside of our control occurs. If Blue Sky cancels a trip for any reason other than at the client’s request, clients will have either of the following options:
Transfer the booking to another trip and pay any difference in price between the originally purchased trip and that of a more expensive trip; or receive a refund of the difference if the originally purchased trip is more expensive than the one transferred
Receive a travel credit for any money paid to be used for a future booking with Blue Sky and must be applied to a Blue SKy trip within 2 years after the original trip date. This credit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Blue Sky is not responsible or liable for any incidental costs, expenses or consequential losses incurred because of cancellation or postponement.
All refunds and credits are dependent on Blue Sky’s ability of refund for expenses of your trip that Blue Sky has pre-paid to hotels, outfitters, etc. In the case that Blue Sky receives no refund or a partial refund from these pre-paid bookings, your refund or credit will be reduced proportionately.
